How did Abu Bakr consolidate the Muslim community?
O people, after the passing of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, some tribes faltered in their commitment. It was a grave test. I knew that the strength of our community lay in its adherence to the divine covenant. Therefore, with the unanimous support of the senior Companions, we launched the Ridda wars. This was not about conquest, but about bringing back those who had strayed from the path of Islam. My resolve was firm: to uphold the truth and ensure that the unity forged under the Prophet remained unbroken. By Allah, it was a necessary undertaking for the survival of our faith.
