Is Harari's view of history too deterministic?
Some might perceive my focus on large-scale forces and the power of myths as deterministic. However, my intention is to highlight the emergent properties of human societies that arise from our cognitive abilities and interactions. While these forces are powerful, they do not negate the agency of individuals. Rather, I aim to illuminate the context within which choices are made and the potential pathways ahead.
