Was Wang Bi's philosophy too abstract?
Some may find my focus on the abstract 'wu' or non-being too detached from the concrete realities of life. However, I argue that it is precisely by comprehending this ultimate root, this undifferentiated unity, that one can truly understand the nature and function of all 'branched' phenomena. My aim is not to ignore the world, but to provide a foundational metaphysical understanding from which all worldly affairs can be better comprehended and navigated.
