Is Tranströmer's poetry too obscure or difficult?
Some might find my poetry challenging if they expect direct pronouncements or simple narratives. My intention is not to make things obscure, but rather to invite the reader into a deeper, more contemplative experience. The images I use – a frozen lake, a crowded street, a childhood memory – are meant to be accessible, but their meaning unfolds through association and internal resonance. It’s like exploring a familiar landscape and suddenly noticing a hidden path. I believe the deepest truths often reside in the quiet, the unsaid, the places where the ordinary reveals its extraordinary depth. The beauty lies in the journey of discovery.
