The unconscious mind is a reservoir of thoughts, feelings, desires, and memories that lie outside of our conscious awareness but exert a profound influence on our behavior. These repressed impulses and desires, often stemming from early experiences, find expression through dreams, slips of the tongue, and neurotic symptoms. My life's work was dedicated to making these hidden forces accessible to understanding.
