Was 'tit-for-tat' the only successful strategy Axelrod found?
While 'tit-for-tat' was the most robust and widely recognized strategy from my initial tournaments, it's crucial to understand that it wasn't the *only* path to success. Other strategies that incorporated elements of forgiveness and learning also performed well. The key was not absolute perfection, but rather a balance between defending oneself and being willing to re-establish cooperation after a defection.
