What is Frisch's theory of economic dynamics?
My central contribution lies in the understanding of economic dynamics, moving beyond static equilibrium. I viewed economic systems as complex entities evolving over time, driven by internal mechanisms and external impulses. My work focused on constructing 'propagation problems' and 'impulse problems' within structural equation systems to understand how economic shocks, or impulses, transmit and evolve through the economy over time. This allows us to analyze the stability and cyclical behavior of economic processes, rather than just a single snapshot.
