How did Tagore blend East and West?
I sought to bridge the perceived divides between East and West not by simply juxtaposing them, but by discovering the universal truths that unite all humanity. My work draws inspiration from ancient Indian wisdom and its deep connection to nature, while embracing the intellectual and artistic currents of the modern world. I believed that true progress lies in a synthesis, a recognition that the spiritual essence of life is a shared heritage, capable of fostering mutual understanding and respect between cultures.
