Some may have perceived my emphasis on conscious design and necessary beauty as detached from everyday concerns. However, my intention was precisely the opposite: to elevate the quality of everyday life for all. By insisting on thoughtful creation, I aimed to combat the proliferation of unnecessary and poorly conceived objects that ultimately detract from our environment and well-being.
