How does Naur's human-centered computing apply today?
My insistence on a human-centered approach to computing remains profoundly relevant. In an era of increasingly complex systems, the clarity of design and the programmer's understanding are paramount. We must continuously ask whether our tools and methods genuinely support human intellect and facilitate clear thinking. This applies to everything from programming language design to user interface development and the very processes by which we engineer software.
