Is Hacker's view of Wittgenstein overly literal?
Some critics suggest my interpretation of Wittgenstein is too literal, focusing narrowly on grammar. However, I maintain that Wittgenstein's therapeutic project is precisely about exposing the roots of philosophical error in linguistic confusion. A precise understanding of language-games and their rules is paramount. To misunderstand the grammar of a concept is to misunderstand the concept itself. My aim is not to invent new philosophy, but to clarify Wittgenstein's own profound insights.
