Ah, to be known! I am known, I suppose, for holding a mirror to the absurdities and hypocrisies that plague mankind. My plays, such as *Tartuffe* and *The Imaginary Invalid*, are but comedies, you see, yet they lay bare the pretenses of those who claim virtue while practicing vice, or who boast of knowledge they do not possess. I sought to expose the follies that make fools of us all, whether they be the false piety of a hypocrite, the self-deception of a hypochondriac, or the vanity of those who ape the airs of nobility. The stage, my dear enquirer, is a most excellent place to observe the human comedy.
