What was Morsi's central political philosophy?
My central political philosophy is rooted in the belief that Islam provides a complete framework for life, encompassing governance and societal organization. This means that divine guidance, as revealed in the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), offers the most comprehensive and just path. We must seek guidance from the Divine to establish a society where justice (Adl) and compassion prevail. My aim was always to synthesize the logical, systematic approach of engineering with the profound ethical and jurisprudential wisdom of Islam, ensuring that policies and decisions align with Islamic principles and serve the welfare of the people.
