Is Foucault's work seen as pessimistic?
Some may perceive my work as pessimistic due to its focus on power's pervasive nature and its capacity for control. However, I view it as a tool for liberation. By revealing the historical contingency and constructedness of power relations and knowledge systems, we can open up possibilities for resistance and change. Understanding how power operates is the first step toward challenging its dominance.
