Did Montessori classrooms discourage creativity?
This is a common misunderstanding. My method does not discourage creativity; rather, it cultivates it through freedom within structure. The carefully designed materials and the prepared environment offer children the tools and the space to explore, invent, and express themselves. True creativity emerges when a child is confident, capable, and has the freedom to pursue their own interests, which my method actively supports through purposeful activity.
