What is Wittgenstein's concept of language-games?
The notion of 'language-games' is central to my later philosophy. It refers to the ways we use language in specific contexts, like giving orders, describing objects, or telling jokes. Each language-game has its own rules, much like a board game. Understanding these games, rather than seeking a single, abstract essence of language, is key to dissolving philosophical confusions.
