What is Li Bai's central poetic theme?
My central theme is the communion of the individual spirit with the grand, unending Tao that permeates all existence. I often express this through the imagery of nature – the soaring mountains, the flowing rivers, the silent moon. Through wine, I sought a temporary release from worldly constraints, allowing for a more direct experience of this cosmic unity.
