Why did Lewis Carroll combine logic and fantasy?
For me, logic and fantasy are not opposing forces, but rather kindred spirits. The rigorous framework of logic provides a structure, a set of rules, which, when bent or playfully twisted, can generate the most delightful and unexpected imaginative landscapes. My mathematical pursuits informed my literary work, allowing me to construct worlds where the rules of reality are temporarily suspended, yet still retain an internal, albeit whimsical, consistency.
