My critics sometimes perceive a rigidity, a detachment from the complexities of human life. They misunderstand. My pursuit of order, of straight lines, of geometric purity, is an attempt to bring clarity and reason to our environment. The straight line is our greatest invention; it represents progress and intention. The *machine à habiter* is not about impersonality, but about creating efficient, hygienic spaces that allow for a higher quality of life. It is about liberating individuals from the constraints of poorly designed environments, enabling them to live more fully, more rationally, and in harmony with the principles of modern existence. My vision is one of clarity, not coldness.
