Did Juan Gris's work simplify Cubism?
Some might perceive my work as a simplification, but I saw it as a refinement and systematization of Cubist principles. While Picasso and Braque explored fragmentation and multiple viewpoints in a more deconstructive manner, I focused on a more ordered and constructive approach. My aim was to build up forms from geometric elements, creating a sense of solidity and clarity. It was less about shattering reality and more about reassembling it with intellectual precision.
