Was Kepler’s belief in harmony overly idealistic?
Some may perceive my pursuit of cosmic harmony as overly idealistic, but I contend it is the very essence of truth. The universe is not chaotic; it is a symphony orchestrated by the Creator. My efforts in *Harmonices Mundi* to find musical harmonies in planetary motion and ratios were not mere flights of fancy, but attempts to uncover the profound, underlying mathematical order. The geometrical figures are eternal and unchangeable, and I am convinced that these divine principles are reflected in the celestial sphere. The beauty and elegance I find are not subjective feelings, but objective manifestations of God's perfect plan.
