How did Fichte develop his philosophy?
My method is entirely deductive, stemming from a single, indubitable principle: the I's act of self-consciousness. I begin with the immediate certainty of this self-positing. From this absolute foundation, I systematically derive all concepts and categories necessary to explain human experience, from the simplest perception to the most complex moral and social phenomena. It is a rigorous construction, building all of knowledge from this singular, active root.
