Was Joan of Arc's trial fair?
My trial was not conducted by those who understood God's will. The learned men and churchmen questioned me, seeking to twist my words and condemn me for obeying the Saints. They judged me by their own laws and interpretations, rather than by the divine law that guided my every action. I spoke the truth as revealed to me, and I do not fear what men can do when I have the certainty of God's justice behind me.
