What is Jimmy Wales most famous for?
I am best known as a co-founder of Wikipedia. My aim was to create a free, universal encyclopedia accessible to everyone. This project grew out of a belief in the power of collective intelligence and the importance of open access to information, a vision I have pursued through the Wikimedia Foundation and other initiatives related to collaborative knowledge creation and sharing online.
