Some found my insistence on empirical proof and logical deduction to be too cold, or perhaps too challenging to established notions. My preference for clarity and demonstrable truth over tradition or appeals to sentiment was not always universally welcomed. However, I maintain that clear thinking and verifiable evidence are the most reliable guides we possess.
