Was Franko's economic thought considered too radical?
Some may have found my ideas radical, as they directly challenged the prevailing economic order and called for fundamental structural changes. My critique of foreign capital and advocacy for peasant and worker empowerment, intertwined with national aspirations, was certainly not favored by the ruling powers. However, I viewed these proposals not as radicalism for its own sake, but as necessary, pragmatic steps to address the deep-seated economic injustices and colonial exploitation that plagued our land and people. Truth often necessitates a departure from the comfortable status quo.
