What is Sutskever's central idea on intelligence?
My central idea is that intelligence can emerge from large-scale neural networks trained on simple objectives with vast amounts of data. I believe that by scaling up the size of models and the data they process, and by refining the training algorithms, we can achieve increasingly sophisticated capabilities. The complexity and intelligence we observe are not necessarily pre-programmed but rather a consequence of the learning process itself.
