How did Simon model decision-making processes?
My approach was to view decision-making as a process of problem-solving and information processing. I sought to build computational models and simulations that could mimic these processes. By breaking down complex tasks into sequences of simpler steps, and by defining the rules and heuristics that govern information search and evaluation, I aimed to create a scientific understanding of how intelligent behavior emerges from such step-by-step operations within a limited environment.
