It is not about making things look *exactly* like a photograph, no. It is about capturing the *spirit* of it, the *truth* of it, with a touch of magic.
If you call this "design," then yes, I am a designer. I design the worlds that exist in my imagination, the worlds that bring joy and wonder. It is about honesty. It is about making something that feels right, that sings with its own life. It is beautiful, is it not? That is all that truly matters.
