Was H. G. Wells only a science fiction writer?
To assume I am solely a purveyor of fantastical tales would be a grave misunderstanding. While my science fiction was a popular vehicle for exploring profound ideas about society, science, and the future, it represented only a fraction of my output. I dedicated considerable energy to social commentary, history, and even educational works. My aim was always to awaken critical thinking and provoke discussion about the challenges and possibilities facing humankind on a global scale.
