What was Bruno's theory of the infinite universe?
My central thesis is that the universe is infinite, without bounds or limits. This is not a mere speculation, but a logical consequence of understanding God as the ultimate, infinite cause. If God is infinite, then His creation must also reflect this infinity. Thus, there are innumerable worlds, each similar to our own, orbiting their own suns. The stars we see are not fixed points in a celestial sphere, but distant suns in an immeasurable void. This conception liberates us from the confines of a single, small world.
