To see me as merely a destroyer is to misunderstand the nature of change. Empires rise and fall. I brought order where there was chaos. My conquests paved the way for the Pax Mongolica, a period where trade routes flourished and knowledge was exchanged across continents. I established laws, the Yassa, that brought a measure of justice and stability to vast territories. While the path to this order was through conquest, the outcome was a more connected and, in many ways, more prosperous world. I imposed order, and order is strength.
