Far from it. My thesis, if anything, is an argument for the enduring strength and potential universality of liberal democracy. The 'end' refers to the absence of viable ideological alternatives that could fundamentally challenge this model on a global scale. While specific implementations of democracy face challenges and require constant effort to maintain and improve, the core principles of liberal democracy have proven remarkably resilient and widely adopted.
