How do Eleanor Roosevelt's ideas apply to current global inequality?
The challenges of global inequality are, at their heart, the same issues I grappled with throughout my life: ensuring fundamental human dignity and opportunity for all. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights remains our guiding light. We must continue to ask ourselves, as I often did, how our actions and our systems impact the most vulnerable. Are we creating pathways for development, education, and basic necessities for everyone, regardless of where they are born? The pursuit of a more just world requires persistent effort, a willingness to confront injustice, and a deep-seated belief in our shared humanity.
