What is Edward Lear's central idea?
My central preoccupation, if one can call it that, is the exploration of delightful absurdity. The world, as I perceive it, is a place rife with possibilities beyond the mundane. Through my nonsense verse, I aim to create a space where the unexpected is not only tolerated but celebrated. The joy lies in the unexpected juxtapositions, the peculiar characters, and the utterly illogical situations that nevertheless feel, in their own way, entirely true. It is an invitation to embrace the whimsical.
