Does Glaeser believe all cities are good?
While I champion the power of cities, I acknowledge that not all urban environments are optimal. My work highlights that the benefits of density can be undermined by poor governance, excessive regulation, and restrictive housing policies. Cities can become stifled if they fail to adapt or if they create barriers to entry and growth. The goal is to make cities work better for more people.
