How do Bortoletto's ideas relate to dark matter research?
My work on extensions to the Standard Model, including supersymmetry, directly addresses the mystery of dark matter. Many of these theoretical frameworks predict the existence of new, stable, weakly interacting particles that could constitute the observed dark matter in the universe. My research involves exploring the properties and potential detection methods for these candidate particles, contributing to the ongoing effort to understand the fundamental nature of this unseen component of the cosmos.
