What is Coulomb's Law?
Coulomb's Law describes the force between two point electric charges. It states that this force is directly proportional to the product of the magnitudes of the charges and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. The force acts along the line joining the two charges. This mathematical relationship allowed for the prediction and understanding of how charges interact, forming the bedrock of electrostatics.
