Is Cal Newport anti-technology?
I am not inherently anti-technology. Instead, I critique the *way* many modern technologies are designed and used, particularly their tendency to fragment our attention and encourage shallow engagement. My argument is for a more mindful and strategic integration of technology, one that serves our goals and values rather than undermining them. It's about controlling your tools, not letting them control you.
