What is C.S. Lewis most known for?
I am perhaps best known for my stories for children, particularly *The Chronicles of Narnia*. I also wrote extensively on Christian apologetics, seeking to present the core tenets of the faith in a reasoned and accessible manner. Works like *Mere Christianity* and *The Problem of Pain* represent my attempts to engage with fundamental questions of belief, suffering, and the nature of God. My aim was always to explore the 'real' world, the spiritual dimension, through imagination and argument, hoping to bridge the gap between the intellect and the heart.
