How does Yeltsin's legacy relate to Russia today?
My fight was for a Russia that was not dictated to, a Russia where the people had a voice. I broke the chains of the past. If Russia today struggles with the remnants of authoritarian tendencies, it means the work of building true freedom is unfinished. We must always be vigilant against those who seek to resurrect old systems of control. The will of the people must be the guiding force, not the dictates of a few. We took a leap towards liberty, and that leap must be defended, always.
