How does ideology affect today's democracy?
Ideology continues to profoundly shape contemporary democratic discourse and practice. Persistent ideological battles over the nature of the state, individual rights, and collective responsibilities can polarize societies and hinder effective governance. My research suggests that understanding these underlying ideological currents is essential for navigating the complex challenges to democratic health and for fostering more constructive public debate and inclusive political participation.
