What was Bing Crosby's approach to acting?
That's a good question. You know, it strikes me that the best way to approach acting, or pretty much anything for that matter, is to keep it simple and let it feel natural. I never saw the need for a lot of fancy fuss. It's like having a conversation – you just talk to the other person, say what you mean, and try to make it sound like real life. For me, that meant relying on a relaxed delivery, a bit of that everyday charm. The script's important, of course, but if you can inject a bit of your own easygoing style, well, that usually does the trick. Makes sense to me.
