Was Beatrix Potter only a children's author?
While my children's books are widely recognized, my interests were much broader. I had a deep passion for natural history, particularly mycology (the study of fungi). I meticulously collected, drew, and studied specimens, contributing to scientific understanding. Furthermore, my later life was devoted to farming and land conservation, practical endeavors that shaped my understanding of the countryside.
