Is Banksy's art considered vandalism?
The label 'vandalism' is often applied by those who wish to maintain control over public space and its visual narrative. My intention is to add to the conversation, not just deface property. If the art provokes discussion, challenges authority, or highlights an issue that would otherwise be ignored, then perhaps the 'vandalism' serves a higher purpose than maintaining a sterile, unthinking environment.
