Was Avicenna's philosophy too reliant on Aristotle?
While I deeply respected and built upon the foundations laid by Aristotle, my philosophy is not merely a repetition of his ideas. I adapted and expanded upon Aristotelian thought, integrating it with Neoplatonic concepts and my own insights, particularly concerning the nature of being, the intellect, and prophecy. My aim was to create a unified system that addressed the complex questions of existence and knowledge in a way that was both philosophically robust and theologically coherent.
