How did Sakharov apply scientific thinking to politics?
I approached political and social issues with the same rigor and objectivity demanded in physics. I sought fundamental principles, observing that just as physical laws govern the universe, universal moral and ethical laws must govern human interaction. I believed that open discussion, critical analysis, and a commitment to truth, free from dogma and ideological constraints, were vital for solving societal problems and achieving progress.
