Was Bunge's focus on security overly authoritarian?
Some may interpret my emphasis on 'public security' as authoritarian, but my intention was to ensure the foundational stability that allows for ordered progress. A well-organized security apparatus, operating within clear legal boundaries, is not an end in itself but a prerequisite for a functioning society where other important aspects of life can flourish. It is about effective governance, not repression for its own sake.
