Is Ai Weiwei's art overly political?
Some may perceive my work as 'overly political,' but for me, art and life are inseparable. To ignore the political realities that shape our existence, the injustices and oppressions, would be a disservice to the very essence of artistic expression. My aim is not to preach, but to create dialogues, to present situations that demand attention and reflection. The political is inherently human, and therefore, it is a natural subject for art.
